My first timelapse on my new GoPro

This was my first time-lapse shot using my new GoPro HERO3: Black Edition.

The time-lapse was shot over a period of 40 minutes with 0.5 second intervals between each frame. This turned out be a much too frequent interval and before the 40 minutes was up, my 16 GB card was already full. I think something like 5 seconds might have been a better interval.

The rotation was provided by an IKEA Egg Timer. As you can see from the video it works perfectly as a rotating time-lapse mount even in the rain.

I had the GoPro mounted on the egg timer and left it on the corner of balcony wall. Since I was afraid it might fall off, I had it secured with a piece of wire. Thankfully everything turned out fine even with the horrendous rain.
